The mission of the Memorial Student Center Carter G. Woodson Black Awareness Committee is to provide students with the opportunity to cultivate leadership skills via developing, planning, coordinating and executing quality cultural programs focusing on African-American history, culture and issues. The MSC Woodson Committee will attempt to increase the understanding of African-American history, culture, concerns and issues to the entire Texas A&M population particularly students. The MSC Woodson Committee is a vehicle for developing and increasing the leadership and communication skills of its committee constituents and executives.
